UK child employment law and KidsHustle

How KidsHustle is designed to comply with British rules on young people working.

KidsHustle was built from the ground up to comply with British child employment regulations. Here's how that shows up in the app.

Age-appropriate work only

The platform focuses on light, safe, local tasks such as dog walking, gardening and car washing. Work that would be unsuitable or unsafe for a 13 to 17 year old isn't permitted.

Parental involvement

A parent or guardian approves every job and oversees the account, reflecting the important role parents play in a young person's work.

A note on your responsibilities

Local councils in the UK can have their own rules, and some areas require a work permit for young workers. KidsHustle builds in strong protections, but parents and job owners should also be aware of any local requirements that apply to them. This article is general information, not legal advice.
