Apply for a job and request parent approval

How applying works for teens and why every application needs a parent's approval first.

Applying for a job on KidsHustle is quick, but there's one important step: your parent or guardian has to approve it before it goes to the job owner.

How to apply

Find a job you like on the map and tap to open it. When you're happy with the details, tap to apply. Instead of going straight to the job owner, your application is sent to your linked parent for review.

Requesting parent approval

Your parent sees the full job — who posted it, the location, the pay and the description — in their family view. They can approve or deny it with one tap.

  • If they approve, your application is submitted to the job owner.

  • If they deny, the application isn't sent. You can talk to them about why and look for other jobs.

After you're chosen

If the job owner picks you from their applicants, the job becomes active at the specified time and stops when you click "End Job".
