KidsHustle handles all payments securely through the platform, so there's no cash and everything is documented. Here's what it costs and how it works when you hire.

The service fee

KidsHustle charges a service fee of 12.5% on jobs. This fee is charged to you, the job owner — it is not deducted from the teen's payout. The teen receives the full amount advertised for the job.

How payment works

  • When you post a job, the payment is held securely in escrow.

  • The teen completes the work and submits completion photos.

  • You approve the work, and the funds are released from escrow to the teen's parent-linked account.

Because payment is held in escrow, teens know the money is there before they start, and you only pay out for work that's actually completed and approved.

Powered by Stripe

Payments run through Stripe Connect, the same secure infrastructure used for identity verification.
