Fees explained

Exactly what KidsHustle charges, who pays it, and what teens receive.

KidsHustle keeps fees simple and transparent. Here's exactly how they work.

The service fee

KidsHustle charges a service fee of 12.5% on jobs. This is charged to the job owner, on top of the amount they're paying the teen.

Teens keep the full amount

The fee is not taken out of a teen's earnings. If a job is advertised at a certain amount, that's what the teen receives. The service fee is an additional cost for the job owner, not a deduction from the worker.

Why there's a fee at all

The service fee covers the cost of running the platform safely — identity verification, secure escrow payments, content moderation, live location and support. It's what makes it possible to offer all of this to teens and parents for free.

An example

If a job owner posts a car washing job for £10, the teen receives £10 when the work is approved. The job owner pays £10 plus the 12.5% service fee.
