Identity verification and who's allowed on the platform

How KidsHustle verifies adults and keeps anonymous accounts off the platform.

One of the biggest safety questions parents have is: who is my teen actually working for? On KidsHustle, the answer is always a verified, real person.

Every parent is verified

Before anyone can post a job or interact with a teen, they complete identity verification through Stripe Identity. This usually involves providing an official ID document and confirming it's really them. No verification means no access - there are no exceptions.

No anonymous accounts

Because verification is required up front, there are no anonymous job posters on the platform. Every job comes from a confirmed identity.

How your documents are handled

Verification is carried out by Stripe, a trusted payments and identity provider. KidsHustle doesn't store your raw ID documents directly - they're handled through Stripe's secure systems.

What about teens and their families?

Teens are linked to their parent or guardian who oversees their account, and payments flow through their parent-controlled accounts. This layered approach means everyone on the platform is accounted for.
